Because of Manitowoc’s early commitment to environmental concerns, dozens of ice machines have qualified for the ENERGY STAR in the very early stages of the program. Commercial ice machines that have earned the ENERGY STAR are up to 15% more energy and water efficient than standard models.

By May 2008, over 97% of Manitowoc’s cube ice machines will meet or exceed stringent ENERGY STAR and CEE performance data.
